School librarians are invited to this interactive session to discover the transformative power of collaboration with classroom teachers, enabling them to become essential partners on campus. Librarians will learn how to leverage their expertise and communicate their value in supporting student learning and academic success. Attendees will be introduced to a wealth of ready-to-use lessons and resources, tailored to various grade levels and subjects. These valuable takeaways will empower librarians to seamlessly integrate their services into the curriculum, aligning with instructional goals and promoting information literacy, research skills, and critical thinking.

Learn all the ways to create a brand and showcase reading programs, library programs, book recommendations, and book reviews using social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Hive, Clubhouse, BeReal and more! Leave with multiple resources to promote your own library, brand, and books in general.  

This session will focus on promoting independent inquiry and research skills using library resources, collaborating with GT teachers to design tailored programs and initiatives for gifted and talented students, and highlighting specific novels for bibliotherapy to address their specific social and emotional needs.  

Mosey yourself on down to learn about planning and creating your own, TEKS-based, digital escape rooms for free! You will learn how to do every step, from planning it out using AI, to creating the rooms and content using Canva, Google Forms, and Google Slides. Put some giddy-up in your library lessons for any level and content!
